Optima Film provides limited warranty coverage for automotive window films against defects such as adhesion failure, peeling, demetallization, delamination, or discoloration (e.g., fading to purple).

This warranty becomes void if installation violates any applicable laws or regulations. Only films installed in compliance with local laws are covered. Optima Film is not responsible for damages caused by illegal installation.

Warranty coverage begins from the date of installation. It does not cover damage caused by improper installation, poor maintenance, cleaning abuse, glass breakage, or misuse.

In the event of a defect, an authorized dealer will remove and replace the film upon approval. Warranty compensation is limited to replacement film and reasonable labor costs based on the original invoice.

Warranty Claims

Customers must contact their dealer to initiate a claim. All warranty services require prior authorization from Optima Film. Supporting documents are required.

Appendix A – Coverage

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Applies to Armor 100, 90, 55, and 35 Series products.

• Free replacement and installation through authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
• Covers unusual discoloration (e.g., purple fading).
• Valid for vehicles such as sedans, minivans, SUVs, trucks, and tractor trailers.
• Does not cover motorhomes, RVs, boats, or tractors.
• Improper installation is not covered.
• Dealers cannot modify warranty terms.

Purchaser Obligations

• Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• Valid as long as the purchaser owns the vehicle.
• Proof of purchase (receipt) is required.
• Proof of identity and vehicle ownership must be provided.
